PLURI is a two-year European project in Finland and Germany. Together with educators, families, students, researchers and communities, we explore how multilingualism can become a more visible and natural part of education and everyday life.

How
we work?

Our activities are connected: a question from a Discussion Club can become a workshop, an activity from the workshop becomes part of the Language Station – and is then tested with teachers and trainers.

    Exploring multilingualism through artistic practice – with words, images, sounds and materials.

  2. PLURI Club

    Practitioners from different fields share experiences and approaches to multilingualism in tandem exchanges.

  3. Online courses

    Short videos and reflection tasks on multilingualism in education – for educators and facilitators.

  4. Podcasts

    Conversations about language, identity and belonging – with researchers, practitioners and people with lived experience.

  5. Recommendations

    Recommendations for educational practice, institutions and policymakers – drawn from research and practice.

  6. Developing the Language Station

    How the Language Station grew – through exchanges with practitioners, artists and researchers and experiments with different groups.
